Who processes your data

What we collect

When you submit the enquiry form we ask for your name and email address — these are required so that we can reply. Optionally you may provide your company, phone number, route and cargo details. Together with the enquiry we technically record the date, time and IP address of submission, which is needed to protect the form from automated spam.

Purpose and legal basis

We process the data for one purpose only — to answer your enquiry and provide a quotation. The legal basis is steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in protecting the form from abuse (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not send marketing emails and do not use the data for that purpose.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to 24 months from the last exchange, so that we can refer back to earlier quotations and route history. If an enquiry leads to a contract, data is retained for the period required by law for accounting records. After that period the data is deleted.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to third parties for marketing. Data may be accessible to our email and server providers, acting as processors under contract. When carrying out a specific shipment, necessary data may be passed to carriers, customs brokers and state authorities — only to the extent required by the transport and by law.

Cookies

This website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Visit statistics are collected by Matomo on our own server, without cookies, and are not passed to third parties. Fonts are served from our own server; 3D graphics on the home page are loaded from the Cloudflare library network (cdnjs), which may see your IP address as an ordinary technical part of the request.

To know how customers find us, your browser remembers, for the current tab only (sessionStorage, deleted when the tab is closed), where you arrived from: the referring website’s domain, campaign tags (UTM) or an advertising click ID, and the first page you opened.

This information is sent to us only together with an enquiry you submit and is included in the enquiry email. If you open WhatsApp from the website, the message is pre-filled with the page you were on and where you came from; you can edit it before sending.

Subscription: HS list updates

If you subscribe to notifications about changes to the HS check lists, we store your email address, interface language, the commodity codes you chose, optionally your company name, and the date and IP address of your consent. The subscription starts as soon as you tick the consent box; we keep proof of consent (date, IP address, wording of the box) together with the address.

The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Emails are sent by the email service provider Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), acting as a data processor under contract. Every email contains an unsubscribe link that ends the subscription immediately. We do not use this data for marketing. On request we provide or delete the data within 30 calendar days.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, request correction or erasure, restrict processing, object to processing and receive your data in a structured format. To exercise these rights write to info@infobeta.eu. We reply within 30 calendar days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt).

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page and the date of the last update is shown above.
