Why a warehouse in the middle of the route
A warehouse is not just a place for goods to stand. It is where cargo is consolidated, transhipped, repacked and prepared so that the rest of the journey is cheaper and safer.
What we actually do in the warehouse
Groupage consolidation and distribution, transhipment and cross-docking, repacking and re-palletising, labelling and stock control. We have a customs warehouse and rail ramps, so cargo can be received both from a truck and from a wagon.
Price and free period
Indicative pricing starts from €0.18 per pallet per day. For regular clients the first 1–3 days of storage are free, which is usually enough for consolidation while a full shipment comes together. Working hours are 08:00–18:00 local time.
Customs warehouse
In a customs warehouse goods may be held without paying import duties until a decision is taken on the next procedure. That helps when the cargo has arrived but the buyer or the paperwork is not ready.
Repacking before a long journey
The trip to Central Asia takes weeks and involves several transhipments. Poor packaging costs more en route than re-palletising in the warehouse. At the same time we can label the cargo to the consignee's requirements.
How the warehouse relates to documents
While the cargo is in the warehouse there is time to check the commodity code and, if needed, order a phytosanitary or veterinary certificate — issuing takes up to 5 working days. You can also check the code yourself in our HS code check.
